Let it Snow
Decorate your window with beautiful hand-made snowflakes made from wire, chenille stems and beads.
Victorian Holiday Collage Visit the Ballantine House, festively decorated for the holidays. Then use Victorian images to create a holiday collage.
Shake Your Tail Feather
In Victorian homes, it was a winter custom to place little decorative birds throughout the house to act as guardians. Visit the Ballantine House and search for little birds in every downstairs room, then make a clay bird for your home.
Candle Making
Make a candle for your holiday celebration using beeswax.
Science Activities (12:30–4:30 pm)
Snot My Problem Saturday only Learn about mucus and how it helps us keep harmful germs out of our body.
Feather Friends Monday–Wednesday Compare the feathers of a variety of birds.
